This is a kit! No leather blade included in this offer!
In the times of Joachim Meyer, the Dussack was the training tool to introduce new people to the art of fencing or used during friendly games at the Fechtschule. Even now, we use wooden and synthetic Dussacks during HEMA training to practise techniques or have friendly bouts with our clubmates.
These leather aluminum compound Dussacks however are pretty new and unique in the HEMA scene. German made high quality, CNC machined skelettonized stabilizers from aluminum also used in aircraft sandwich a leather blade (Not included in this kit) in between them. The leather provides the cushioning while the Aluminium gives the necessary rigidity to fence all your favourite pieces from your favourite dussack tratises like Paulus Hector Mair for example.
With this kit you can make your own blade from any material you like and save money as well. The pattern will be provided to you as PDF via Mail after your purchase. Have fun and get crafty!
