The oldest daggers have been present in the Neolithic types and throughout our history, they have been used for close combat or rituals. The design of the daggers have been developing throughout the centuries, presenting various grip shapes and blade lengths.
This model of a dagger knife, known as the rondel dagger, has been based on several antique daggers from the Middle Ages. It is a training dagger, made from high quality aluminium that will withstand HEMA training. The blade is adorned with a wide fuller, which apart from aesthetic values, makes the training piece light and nimble without compromising its durability.
Despite the lower weight, the dagger has decent blade presence and allows for an easy grip change, from ice pick to knife grip and back.
